Christmas Romance Book Recommendations

Cosy fireside moments, mistletoe, and walks in the snow… a romance novel set during the holiday season lends itself to romance and love.

I love romance stories, and I love all things Christmas, so writing romance books set in December seemed like a festive match made in heaven. If you are looking for a Christmas romance book to read (whether traditional, or a Christmas novel with a twist), then the three romances below might be the perfect complement to your eggnog and mince pie.

Christmas Together

If you are looking for a romance story you can fit in between your present shopping and your dinner prep. then this novella might be for you.

Doctors working at the same hospital, Grace and Dylan are best friends… until he kisses her.

Dr. Dylan Gray hopes to move his relationship with Grace from friends to lovers, but after one kiss, she pushes him firmly back into the friend zone and follows an American soldier overseas.

It takes Dr. Grace Phillips only a few months to realize that turning Dylan down is the biggest mistake of her life. Now she’s back, single, and hoping he’ll give her a second chance.

After a passionate night, their relationship finally seems to have a future… and then Grace makes a Christmas Eve discovery that will change everything.

Is their romance over before it’s begun, or can they find a way to move forward together?

A Romance on the Go story published with Evernight Publishing, this second chance medical romance novella is guaranteed to warm your cockles every bit as much as mulled wine and gingerbread. (Here’s a link to an excerpt so you can see if it’s your kind of story.)

The Guardians’ Trust: Meredith

This full-length romance novel features a confident artist who makes an arranged marriage with the handsome Cole at Christmas. Note: although part of a series, this is a standalone complete romance story - they don't have to be read in order to enjoy the stories.

Some women are born identical - one in the human world, one in the jungle of the Other Realm. It is their fate to change places. Book four of The Guardians’ Trust series tells Meredith’s story…

SHE TRUSTS IN HER DESTINY

Spiritually devout, Meredith departs the realm of her birth to marry the man born for her. An artist, she embraces her new life with her arranged husband and eagerly anticipates the passion she knows will be theirs - but having left the Other Realm’s Resistance, she’s surprised to face his.

RELUCTANT PASSION

Cole refuses to rush headfirst into their relationship. Determined to do the right thing, he struggles to suppress his desire for Meredith and give her what he feels certain she needs – time to adjust to the human world, and him. Their marriage begins in duty, but can they resolve their misconceptions and learn to love?

Set at a stately home in North Wales, UK, there are some lovely festive scenes between hero and heroine. Meredith makes some memorable additions to the Christmas dinner Cole is cooking for the family, and he teaches her the Pagan story of holly and mistletoe use.

A story of passion and love at Christmas, this story has both heat and a couple you can’t help but fall in love with as they fall in love with each other. (Here’s a link to an excerpt so you can see if it’s your kind of story.)

And if you fancy leaving the snow behind for warmer climes?

The Guardians’ Trust: Meri

Set in December the heroine of this fantasy paranormal romance finds herself snowed in with a family she loves as her own. The problem is, they’ve just told her a story that makes her think they are all certifiable!

Some women are born identical - one in the human world, one in the jungle of the Other Realm. It is their fate to change places. Book three of The Guardians’ Trust series tells Meri’s story…

IN LUST WITH HER HUSBAND

When Dr Meri Stevens discovers she’s destined to take her medical skills across the gateway to aid the Resistance, her ordered life is thrown into chaos. She trades the hospital for a jungle, a war and a husband she craves. Struggling to cope with the changes in her life, can Meri accept love and fulfil her destiny?

ANIMAL PASSION

Handsome and good-spirited, Cadell uses humour to conceal his desire for a family. Named for Meri, he throws heart and soul into the match and as the Resistance fight for survival, Cadell fights for his future … and soon two wolves join their war.

Needless, to say the story of another realm and the hunky hero who is her fated mate is real. Meri crosses into a war of rebellion, shapeshifters… and tropical heat – quite a change from Welsh winter weather!

For those of you who enjoy a romance story with alpha males, strong female characters, and some heat, this story is a great choice; the mating ceremony that is part of the wedding is not to be missed! (Here’s a link to an excerpt and professional review so you can see if it’s your kind of story.)

Happy Reading!

Best Wishes,
